ECG is a medical test that detects heart abnormalities by measuring the electrical activity of the heart muscle.

ECGs from a healthy heart does have a characteristic shape. Electrical activity can change if there are irregularities in the heart rhythm or damage to the heart muscle.
It is recommended to have an ECG if you are at risk of heart disease - family history of heart disease, smoking, overweight, diabetes, high cholesterol or high blood pressure.
ECG is recommended if you are experiencing symptoms such as:
-
chest pain
-
shortness of breath
-
dizziness
-
fainting, or
-
fast or irregular heartbeats -palpitations.
We do perform ECGs to monitor the health of people who have been diagnosed with heart problems, cardiac pacemakers and to monitor the effects of certain medications on the heart.

When you get any foreign body in your eye, it is important to remove it as soon as possible.

Foreign bodies can damage your eye by causing scratches, ulcers, and infections. It is advisable not to try to remove foreign objects yourself, there is a risk of more damage to the eye.

Depending on the type of laceration we may decide to do suturing, tissue adhesives, staples, or skin-closure tapes.
We do different suturing techniques to minimise scarring and infection.
